Induction Dinner: in October our Kiwanis Officers exchange positions. The Lieutenant Governor attends this special dinner to retire our officers and then install the new officers.
Historic Bristol Day: in October our club hosts a booth for Historical Bristol Day. Often information is handed out about or club and how to become a member! Raffle tickets, entertainment books and special items are sold to help the children in the community.
Parades: at the end of November our members march in 2 different Christmas parades in Bristol Borough and Bristol Township to kick off the annual Give-A-Christmas fund.
Christmas Dinner: in December the club members, spouses and friends join together in the holiday spirit for our annual meal. Carols are sung and a theme for the night is chosen. Some nights we do a gift for a child to donate to the homeless shelter or play a white elephant game where you never know what gift you will get.
Girl Scout Leader Recognition: each March members of the club honor 2 Girl Scout Leaders who volunteer their time for the girls in our community with a special dinner and plaque.
Student of the Year: in April our club honors one senior from Harry S. Truman, Conwell Egan Catholic, Bucks County Technical High School, Bristol High and Pennsbury who stand out amongst all other seniors as top of the class in not just academics, but also volunteering and extra curricular activities.
The Sesame Classic Banquet: each May thirty scholar athletes, one male and one female from 16 Bucks County schools, are honored at the Bucks County Courier Times and Levittown Bristol Kiwanis Scholarship Dinner.
All Service Club Dinner: also in May the 5 Service Clubs from Bristol Borough join together to celebrate another wonderful year of service and fundraising for our local community
Prayer Breakfast: each year in May we host and attend Prayer Breakfasts to celebrate our spirituality and share uplifting moments.
Trenton Thunder: in June club members attend a social night and help the Weed and Seed Program of Bristol with one night of fun at Trenton Thunder. We get the best seats in the stadium behind home plate and see beautiful fireworks!
Division and Regional Meetings: meetings are held throughout the year with the 10 clubs in Division 21 or the 30 plus clubs of Region 7. New information is shared and workshops are provided to learn more about Kiwanis, service projects or fundraising ideas.
District and International Conventions: members are given the opportunity to attend conventions all over the state of Pennsylvania in August for the annual district convention or areas all over the world in June for our International Convention.
